What is UK Lotto?

UK Lotto is the national lottery of the United Kingdom. It started in 1994 and it has become the UK’s favourite lottery!

How do I join a UK Lotto Syndicate?

That’s super easy! All you need to do is:
1. Head over to our UK Lotto page
2. Select the number of shares you want to buy
3. Finalise your transaction by clicking ‘Add to Cart’

You can select 6 numbers from 1-59. Each share contains 28 lines, which means you will have 28 chances to win!

What is a Syndicate?

A syndicate is a group of players who buy lottery tickets together and share the winnings according to the number of shares they each purchased. The more shares you buy, the bigger your portion of the winnings will be!

What are the UK Lotto prizes?

The national UK lottery offers 5 different prizes, including the jackpot. The value of the prize in tiers 5 is fixed, but the value of prizes in tiers 1-4 depends on the number of tickets sold. If there are multiple winners for any given prize tier, the amount is divided equally between the winners. Check out the UK Lotto prizes in the table below:

Match Odds of Winning Prize*
6 1:45,057,474 Jackpot
5 + Bonus Ball 1:7,509,579 £1,000,000 (estimated)
5 1:144,415 £1,750
4 1:2,180 £140
3 1:97 £30

* The amounts shown above have been taken from the official UK Lotto prize breakdown. Jackpot.com prize amounts are calculated in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

What happens if nobody wins the jackpot?

If nobody wins the UK Lotto jackpot, which starts at £2 million, the jackpot continues to roll over for a maximum of 5 times. The 5th rollover will be a ‘Must Be Won’ lottery, and if nobody wins the jackpot in this instance, a jackpot roll down will take place, in which the jackpot will be distributed amongst all cash winners.
