Wherever you are in the world, we give you the opportunity to bet on the outcome of this lottery rather than purchase a ticket.
Betting on OZ Lotto is done in the same way as if you were playing the lottery, and it is quite easy! All you need to do is head over to our OZ Lotto page, select 7 numbers between 1-47, and click on ‘Add to Cart’ to finalise your transaction.
When the drawdown happens, the system will select 10 numbers: 7 main numbers and then another 3 bonus numbers. The reason for a 10 number drawdown is that it makes it a bit easier for players to match their own numbers to those drawn. Players can match any of their numbers to those drawn to try and form a bigger matching set. The more numbers matched, the bigger the prize!
When you choose to subscribe to OZ Lotto, or any other lottery, your numbers will be automatically entered in every draw for the particular time frame you choose (e.g. 1 month). So for instance, if you choose to subscribe to OZ Lotto for one month, you will not have to place your bets every week, because we will submit your numbers for you for that particular month! You can subscribe to OZ Lotto for 1 month or choose multidraw to bet on two, four or eight draws in a row.
If you win an OZ Lotto prize, we will send you an email to let you know and we’ll make sure that your winnings are transferred to your account as soon as possible. You can also check out our OZ Lotto results page which is updated right after every draw and compare your numbers to the winning numbers. If you’re not sure which numbers you submitted, you can view these in your account.

As of the 17th of May 2022, the OZ lotto has seen some changes that aim to deliver bigger prizes as well as generate more winners. Below is some information that clarifies this, check out how you could use these rules to maybe land a win!
Changes have been made to the numbers matrix so players must now select numbers up to 47 instead of 45. Additionally, the system now selects 3 supplementary numbers instead of the previous 2.
These changes to the numbers matrix mean that the grand prize is a little harder to win, however, the runner up prizes are easier to land!
The minimum jackpot is also bigger now, as it will stand at a guaranteed AU$3 Million minimum.
These changes push the odds of winning the first prize from 1:45,379,620 to 1:62,891,499 but with the introduction of another supplementary number, the chances of winning any prize go from 1 in 55 to 1 in 51, so everyone has a better chance of landing on a prize tier!
